Simra is from Elizabethtown, KY, and is a Louisville Cardinal through and through. She attended undergrad and medical school at UofL.

In her free time you’ll find her spending time with her family, trying new restaurants and reviewing them on her foodstagram, traveling, and planning skiing or scuba adventures.

Dr. Ahmed was drawn to UofL for residency because of the surgical experience, the hands on nature of the program, the community, and all the residents she’s seen graduate as independent confident ophthalmologists!
