Elizabeth is originally from Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and she completed her undergraduate education at Bellarmine University. She attended medical school at the University of Louisville and elected to stay in town for ophthalmology residency. Her professional interests include comprehensive ophthalmology, oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery, and medical aesthetics.

Elizabeth is a longtime resident of Louisville and can attest to this city being a wonderful place to grow up. She was drawn to this residency program after seeing several classes of residents graduate with a strong surgical education in a collegial and supportive environment.

In her free time, she takes ballet classes, fosters cats with the Kentucky Humane Society, listens to Taylor Swift, and spends time with friends and family.
