Christian is from Valparaiso, IN. He received his medical degree from Indiana University.

Christian likes the variety of restaurants around Louisville and its proximity to his family and an international airport. He really loves the parks and trails around Louisville, particularly all the beautiful areas along the Ohio riverfront. He also enjoys great nearby areas like historic Bardstown and the Smokey Mountains national park for weekend trips.

In his free time, you might find him trying new cooking techniques and recipes, reading classic science fiction, building things in his garage, or planning his next travel adventure with his wife and one year old daughter. He’s also working on his pilot’s license!

Dr. Briggs will be practicing comprehensive ophthalmology at a private practice group in Illinois after graduating this year.
