Carolina is from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She graduated from medical school at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.

Carolina did research and lived in California and Ohio before moving to Louisville. She was drawn to the University of Louisville for its diversity of cases at the general and subspecialty clinics, and also for the friendliness of the residency program. She is thrilled to live in a city full of nature and adores the Louisville food scene!

In her free time, Carolina enjoys spending time with her husband, one-year-old daughter, and dog in the neighborhood park, as well as cooking Brazilian food! Baking her grandmother’s carrot cake has a special place in her heart.
