Rooshil is from Chicago and moved to Florence, KY in middle school. He received his medical degree from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky.

Whether it’s working on his golf swing or discovering the numerous hiking trails in the surrounding areas, Rooshil appreciates all of the options Louisville has to offer to stay active. He also loves ending those active days with one of the many diverse food options within the city!

When he’s not working, you’ll likely catch Rooshil with a group of his close friends. He loves how easy it was to meet new people in residency and introduce them to his own friends. He definitely has a case of the travel bug, and relishes the fact that he is within driving distance to a handful of major cities (Chicago, Nashville, St. Louis, Lexington, Cincinnati, Indianapolis to name a few!).

Rooshil will be pursing a career in general ophthalmology after completion of residency!
